| Under normal circumstances, I would only highlight certain points of my victim. However, upon reflection, I have decided that my points here would best be made if I gave the full context. When I initially read this story, it gave me a splitting headache that was only cured once I consumed enough alcohol to kill the brain cells imprinted with the experience. Unfortunately, I had bookmarked it, and did wind up recalling those carefully destroyed memories.
Every time I read this story, I find more and more errors. I have given up, and have decided that discretion is the better part of valor in this instance, and I will give extra credit points to anyone who finds things I might have missed.
I feel compelled to state that there is a very strong likelihood that this Penelope Quirke is a child. There is a definite infantile feel to much of this story, yet she managed to code a web page for it, so she can’t be that young. Either way, once something is placed on the web for public perusal, it’s open season as far as I’m concerned.
That said I hereby invite you to enjoy my take on this waste of time.

| I chose to combine an essay and a critique this time, since the only way to explain what I felt was this story’s biggest sin wound up taking nearly as much space as the rest of my review. I am also not including quotes as I usually would, because, quite frankly, I didn’t want to have to go back and read this story all over again.

Summary: Legolas 1st person POV. Once the Ring is bye-bye, after he performs the hokey-pokey with Aragorn a startled Legolas discovers he’s, as he claims, “the legendary beautiful Elf with the special added features.” Hmm...

| My therapist, whom I have begun seeing since reading this story, says that it would be good for me to vent my feelings. He says that by suppressing my emotions, I am at risk for developing any number of problems, including but not limited to, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
